This means that you no longer need a referral from a doctor. A referral is only required for a chronic condition listed on the so-called <em>Borst List<\/em> or for treatment at home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Are you visiting us for the first time? Please note that the first appointment <strong>takes a little longer than a regular appointment<\/strong>. We will start with an initial consultation and a physiotherapy assessment. <strong>This will always be followed by an initial treatment during the same appointment.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Because the initial consultation and assessment, as well as the treatment, take place during the same first appointment, your health insurer considers these <strong>two separate services<\/strong>. As a result, the first appointment may be <strong>charged as two separate services<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For your first appointment, please bring your <strong>insurance card and a valid form of identification<\/strong>, such as a passport, driving licence or ID card.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you are unable to attend your appointment, please cancel <strong>at least 24 hours in advance<\/strong>. In case of late cancellation or failure to attend, we may charge you for the reserved appointment time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Prices<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Treatments which are not covered by your insurance will be invoiced directly by us.
